HB1416 TUTORING

Greetings!  It is that time of year when we will start tutoring sessions in order to meet the tutoring requirements of HB1416 (previously known as HB4545).  This year, the tutoring sessions will be completed online on a program called IXL.  Students can work on it during school hours or at home to meet the requirements.  However, there will be staff development days where students that are not making progress on their own will be assigned to attend tutoring sessions.  Please encourage your students to work on their tutorial materials at home. The minutes do add up!

• Students that have not completed FOUR hours on IXL will attend school on September 18, 2023 from 1:00-4:00.

(Certified teachers will be available to help with all subjects.)

Any students owing hours after EOC testing who must re-test will be required to stay in Spring 2024 at the end of semester.

**Students that fail to attend will be assigned Saturday School to make up these hours.**
